Project Overview
The Global Tolerance and Human Fraternity Summit 2023 brought together a formal conference setting in Abu Dhabi under the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence. Tarweej supported the event with a cohesive physical environment that extended from the main stage to reception, wayfinding, and branded guest-facing touchpoints.
Across the venue, the delivery reflected a clear visual language built around bilingual branding, high-visibility stage elements, and coordinated event furniture. The result was a professional summit environment designed to support speeches, arrivals, media moments, and visitor movement with consistency and control.
What We Delivered
We delivered a coordinated conference setup designed to support both formal programming and the wider visitor journey.
- Main conference stage with large-format digital display
- Branded backdrop and scenic stage framing
- Reception and welcome environments
- Event furniture and front-of-house elements
- Freestanding branding units and information points
- Flag and banner installations
- Venue-wide visual branding across multiple touchpoints
Design Approach
The design language combined formal institutional branding with a clean, contemporary event aesthetic. Large graphic surfaces, bilingual messaging, and controlled lighting created a unified identity across the summit. In addition, the visual system translated well across stage, lobby, reception, and circulation zones, helping the environment feel connected rather than fragmented.
Visitor Experience
Visitor movement appears to have been supported through clearly branded arrival points, strong visual anchors, and a legible stage focal point. From entrance moments to the main conference hall, the environment balanced visibility with formality. As a result, guests could move through the space with a clear sense of orientation while the summit branding remained present throughout the journey.
Challenges & Solutions
Projects of this nature require multiple branded elements to work across different venue conditions while maintaining consistency. Tarweej addressed that complexity by aligning scenic production, furniture, signage, and stage delivery within one coordinated system. That approach helped keep the experience visually coherent across both ceremonial and operational zones.
Production & Execution
We coordinated design intent with fabrication, finishing, logistics, and installation to ensure a reliable on-site outcome. From stage build and backdrop execution to reception counters and branded freestanding units, every element needed to perform as part of one controlled delivery process. Quality, alignment, and installation readiness were essential throughout the project lifecycle.
Results & Impact
The final environment gave the summit a polished and credible platform for formal programming and guest engagement. It demonstrated Tarweej’s ability to deliver conference environments that combine branding clarity, spatial coordination, and disciplined execution. Moreover, it showed how we translate institutional messaging into a seamless, event-ready experience.
