Project Overview
This project featured the 67th Meeting of the Governing Board of INTOSAI in Abu Dhabi in 2015. The conference environment was developed to support formal proceedings, speaker visibility, and consistent event branding across key delegate and arrival zones.
We created a composed, professional setting that balanced institutional identity with technical function. The delivered setup included a main conference stage, branded scenic backdrops, screen integration, lectern placement, floral stage dressing, and a dedicated photo opportunity wall for arrivals and official coverage.

We delivered a coordinated conference environment tailored to a high-level international gathering, including:
- Main stage design and build

- Delegate desk layout and stage furniture setup
- Podium and speaker presentation area
- Floral styling for the stage front
- Step-and-repeat media wall
- Wayfinding and branded event graphics
Design Approach
The design language was formal, symmetrical, and highly legible. We organized the stage around a strong central screen, supported by vertical branded panels that reinforced the event identity without overwhelming the proceedings. In addition, the spatial composition prioritized balance, clear sightlines, and a dignified institutional presence.
Visitor Experience
The event journey appears to have been planned for clarity and ease. Delegates entered through a branded reception and photo area, then moved into a conference hall with a focused stage layout and strong front-facing visibility. As a result, the environment supported formal discussion, audience attention, and seamless participation.
Challenges & Solutions
A project of this nature requires precision, especially where protocol, branding consistency, and technical presentation must work together. Tarweej addressed this by aligning scenic production, screen placement, stage geometry, and delegate seating into one controlled setup. Therefore, the final environment felt orderly, coherent, and event-ready.
Production & Execution
From fabrication through installation, the project required coordinated execution across multiple event elements. We maintained consistency in finishes, branding application, and stage detailing while integrating presentation infrastructure into the overall design. Meanwhile, the supporting elements—from the media wall to the floral finishes—helped unify the full conference setting.
Results & Impact
The completed environment presented INTOSAI in a composed and credible way, suitable for a formal international meeting. It demonstrated Tarweej’s ability to deliver conference spaces that combine brand clarity, operational control, and polished execution across staging, scenic production, and on-site installation.
