For Khalifa International Award / Date Palm Exhibition 2023 at Global Food Week Abu Dhabi 2023, Tarweej delivered a custom exhibition stand at ADNEC that combined formal brand expression with a welcoming visitor layout. The project covered design, engineering, fabrication, and installation for KIAAI’s presence at Global Food Week 2023.
The stand balanced institutional presence with hospitality-led engagement. Based on the project record and the visual material provided, Tarweej created an open exhibition environment with clear sightlines, integrated meeting areas, branded product display zones, and a polished architectural language in white, gold, black, and marble-effect finishes.

Design Approach
The design used a formal architectural vocabulary to reflect the stature of the brand while keeping the stand open and accessible. Symmetry, framed portals, curved overhead fascias, and illuminated detailing created a composed visual identity. In addition, marble-effect surfaces, gold trim, and soft warm lighting elevated the space and helped connect institutional branding with a premium exhibition presence.
Visitor Experience
Visitors could approach the stand from multiple sides, which supported easy circulation on the show floor. A central presentation wall anchored the experience, while product display points and front-facing tables encouraged browsing and conversation. At the same time, enclosed and semi-open seating areas gave the stand a more private setting for hosted meetings and relationship-building.
Challenges & Solutions
The project involved ongoing change requests, a tight delivery window, and venue-related limitations. Tarweej addressed these demands through disciplined planning, close on-site supervision, and full in-house production control. As a result, the stand maintained design consistency while adapting to practical event requirements.

This helped maintain finish quality across structural elements, display fixtures, branded details, lighting features, and furniture placement.
