Project Overview
Sandooq Al Watan – Recruitment Open Day 2024 was a conference-style event in Abu Dhabi, where we delivered a branded physical environment designed to support employer visibility, visitor engagement, and smooth on-site flow. The project is listed under Tarweej’s conference portfolio for Abu Dhabi in 2024, with Sandooq Al Watan named as the client and Recruitment Open Day 2024 as the event.
We orchestrated a complete event setup that brought together reception, presentation, partner display stations, meeting zones, and stage branding within one cohesive experience. As a result, the environment balanced clarity, accessibility, and a polished visual identity across the full visitor journey.
What We Delivered
We delivered an integrated event environment tailored to a public-facing recruitment format, including:
- branded entrance and reception zone
- modular partner and initiative display stations
- stage and backdrop setup
- event furniture and lounge seating
- bilingual branding elements
- wayfinding-supportive spatial arrangement
- fabrication and on-site installation
Design Approach
The design language combined clean white structures with warm wood-toned vertical elements and a restrained purple brand palette. This created a professional, welcoming atmosphere while keeping the identity highly visible. Moreover, the modular system allowed different touchpoints—reception, information areas, partner showcases, and meeting spots—to feel connected without overwhelming the open venue.
Visitor Experience
Visitors could move easily from arrival to registration, then onward to display zones, seating areas, and the auditorium stage. The experience felt open and legible, with clear sightlines, comfortable pauses for conversation, and strong screen-based content integration. In addition, the branded kiosks helped present multiple participating entities in an organized and consistent way.
Challenges & Solutions
A key challenge was coordinating several functional zones within a large open venue while maintaining one unified visual language. We addressed this through disciplined spatial planning, repeated architectural elements, and controlled branding placement. Therefore, each zone served a distinct purpose while still reading as part of one carefully engineered environment.
Production & Execution
Our teams coordinated design detailing, fabrication, logistics, and installation as one integrated workflow. From the reception desk and branded structures to stage graphics and display units, each component was produced for consistency, efficient assembly, and reliable on-site performance. At the same time, furniture, screens, and scenic elements were aligned to support both presentation needs and day-long visitor engagement.
Results & Impact
The final result was a calm, professional event environment that elevated the Recruitment Open Day experience and supported clear audience interaction. It demonstrated Tarweej’s ability to deliver branded conference environments with precision, from public reception areas to partner showcases and stage execution.
